These project was inspired by different sensations with no specific shape: blinds, open, shut, order, disorder, fragmentation, repetition, the works of the masters of Scandinavian design, etc. In short, different ways of toning down light with opaque elements.

The search for innovative material solutions resulted in Antoni Arola´s Cubrik lamp, created for Santa & Cole: a cube-shaped suspension lamp, with a reticular steel-structure. It is formed by flat square plastic shades, which design allows the user to choose the amount of desired light while the shades can be set to project an image of more or less neatness and order depending on one´s mood. The Cubrik lamp exists in two sizes, one for domestic use (36 shades) and another for bigger spaces (100 shades).
