Clio R5

Reviving, recycling, changing the usage and trying to see objects with a different perspective are the main purposes of this project.

We reused old vehicle’s lights that where no longer in use, and we transformed them in to space illumination, taking them out of their context we managed to give the object a new functional life.

Clio R5 works with the latest led technology giving the lamp long durability, efficiency and a high energetic performance. The leds lighten a transparent headlamp and an orange taillight holding on to a simple structure.

The lights haven’t lost the original usage and function that had when they were installed in the car: the blinker gives ambient lighting, for a gentle focal light we use the dimmed headlights and for a strong focal lighting we turn on the full headlights.
