This lamp originated as a result of experimenting with introducing light inside an ostrich egg and then suspending it from the ceiling. The collection was completed with a table lamp and a wall fixture. The collection was named after artist Sandy Calder, famous for his mobiles –“L’ou d’en Sandy” meaning “Sandy’s egg”.
