FIL 11W aims to be a guide for the visitors of the MIRA festival, a beam of bright light that goes through and into the Fabra i Coats drawing a journey through the different occupied spaces. A thread that shows the way and leads us subtly towards the center, towards the interior.

This installation was born from an exploration towards new ways of seeing public space, born from proposing other possibilities for street lighting, as we know it. It wants to consider —instead of lamps— lines of light illuminating and drawing the grid of the city. And contemplating how disruptive it can be for people, it is even considered to use it as a means of road signs, indicators, guides...
